ANIPAM
ANIPAM, the National Interprofessional Association of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants of Spain, was set up in 2009 as a non-profit organisation with the aim of uniting growers, processors and marketers of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants to promote the development of the sector and defend their common interests.
Representing almost 90% of the sector at the national level, ANIPAM cultivates and harvests various species on more than 7.000 hectares distributed throughout the country and has several processing centers for essential oils. It emphasizes its commitment to sustainability and environmental performance in the production of essential oils from Aromatic Plants..
Among ANIPAM’s functions are:
– Maintaining institutional relationships and acting as a interlocutor with various administrations and organizations.
– Providing advice and support to its associates.
– Promoting and disseminating the sector through conferences and meetings.
– Supporting research and development projects.
– Monitoring regulations.
– Deepening the understanding of markets.
