Started humbly as a simple clove leaf oil distiller in Baturraden, Purwokerto, Central Java – Indonesia, today Indesso is recognized as the clove essential oil world leader and Indonesian essential oils including their derivatives, and a prominent ISO 9001 + FSSC 2200 certified manufacturer of ingredients for industries such as food, flavorings, fragrances, aromatherapy, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. The Indonesian government has awarded Indesso with the Primaniyarta Award as the Best Performing Exporter for eight times.
